Hanging gardens of polyethylene

Due to the current climatic changes thats affecting our lives, its disheartening to know that there are still morons out there who has the brains to 'plant' plastic moneyplant to cover the 'construction cavities' below the prestigious KL Sentral along Jalan Travers.

Those hanging plastic will eventually end up in landfills or ocean and will take many centuries until efficiently degradable.

Couldn't they just plant the real thing?

'Scindapsus Aureus' or commonly known in Malaysia as money plant is one of the most hassle free and easy to grow plant that helps purify the air. It helps the environment especially for a country that enjoys a botanically-friendly climate.

Bukan money plant yang berhayun tetapi 'mangkok hayun'

Its the same case as the plastic palm tree 'planted' in traffic round-abouts a few years ago.

Some of the contractor who get the contract to put on those 'plastic plant' just simply thinking of profit. They can always be "Green" concious while making money. Then only Money plant come into the picture.

But the mangkok hayun is the person who recommend the plastic plant.
The contractor just say plastic, besi, batu, atau apa saja janji lu bayar ' saya yang mengikut perintah'. Lepas enam bulan saya boleh supply lagi yang baru.

With the Heritage status bestowed upon Penang, hopefully it would bring back the shine to the 'Pearl of the Orient'.

what do u expect from leaders with plastic upbringing and attitudes.
from paper cups (that's biodegradable) to plastic cups;
from paper money to plastic money
from leather jackets to plastic jackets
from money tree to plastic plants
from growing grass on hillslopes to plastic sheets (blue some more) to prevent erosion, konon.
can you kira da.
i simply cannot understand the rationale and the irresponsibility of these people.
and i am sure the mangkuk is also plastic
