An Institutional Heritage

A mere ten minutes walk from my mother's house leads me to my alma mater. For the first time I showed Aidil the school that I attended during my secondary years. My most enjoyable time is not in the classroom but on the field where cricket was played by only a handful of us and it was not as glamourous as basketball, badminton or volleyball. I vividly remember that  the most hilarious time is when my old buddy Mussadikh Meah tricked Amin Carrim into believing that breathing correctly is vital in cricket. With a special apparatus Amin covered his mouth to breath in very deeply which actually turned out to be the 'ball guard'. We all laughed our heads off.

Howzat! What a view it was from this very same cricket pitch.

free school for the brave and for the true.....
i can still remember going to school only when we here the first bell ring at 7.25am. it takes 5 mins walk to reach the gate.. but sometimes kena 1 minute late. prefect tangkap. 3 times i kena detention class and on saturday have to roll the cricket pitch as punishment.
anyway, I got back at a couple of prefects in university. rag them kauw kauw with royal flush ..ie puting thier head inside the toilet bowl and then flush!
another one i giving them the helicopter torture. ..ie.. tying their dick with a string to the ceiling fan and turning it on! padan muka. but we then became good friends. The old ways of ragging was better. made permanent friends in life. unlike now ... pondan semua.... lee wat yu.

Those were the days my friend.. and the roller is damn heavy la dey!
The helicopter and the royal flush will remain as bedtime stories for 'khidmat negara' participants in the hope of instilling.....for the brave and for the true.

wah...I've not heard that word "neeshan" in a long time. Neeshan betui bila tengok gambag-gambag Free School esp. the cricket pitch. Reminded me of the time I hit a sixer and the ball landed somewhere near the HM's house. Sapa berani pi cari. Considered lost ball!! Do you think canyoukira knows how many runs I get for lost ball? ;-)

i thot those who lost their balls are the ones who run away ...hehe
